The RD GPS-5K Suppressor is built for the realities of modern combat—where suppressor performance must match the pace of the fight. Designed for 5.56mm light machine guns, the GPS-5K delivers reliable, hard-use suppression for dismounted infantry, direct action units, and assault gun teams.  Identical in design to its big brother, 556-GPS, the GPS-5K is a shortened version for a more compact solution. 

Engineered with RD’s proprietary Breathable Technology®, the suppressor reduces recoil, toxic gas exposure, and back pressure—allowing for smoother cyclic rates, improved control, and cleaner operation in full-auto or sustained semi-auto fire. The result: faster follow-up shots, greater shooter endurance, and better platform longevity under heavy load.

The compact, monolithic construction is salt-air and heat resistant, making it ideal for expeditionary, maritime, and arid environments. No weapon modification is required—simply mount and move. Whether on an IAR, or belt-fed LMG, the GPS-5K is built to withstand the rigors of the modern battlefield.

Finished with RD’s infrared-suppressive, non-reflective coating, it helps reduce both visible and near-IR signature, supporting operations in low-visibility and NVG-equipped environments.
